Who we are

Roland Glöckler - drums
is a versatile drummer with many years of experience in large and small musical formations. He developed the talent and the inclination for percussion already in his childhood. His groovy basis for the music of one moment - jazz is characterized by rhythmic elements from Bossa Nova and influences from jazz, blues, rock, funk and fusion. His playing technique is based on the methods of Jim Chapin and his interpretation of the Moeller methodology, which is also used by drummers like Dave Weckl.

Dirk "Märshall" Schiller - bass
at the age of 15 Dirk "Märshall" Schiller traded his electric guitar for a jazz bass copy, practiced diligently every day and soon was playing funk, fusion, jazz-rock and jazz in smaller and larger band formations in Cologne and surrounding Rhineland. After a short non-musical break of about 16 years, he has continued his musical journey in Frankfurt since 2008. Dirk plays jazz, funk, fusion, lounge and jazz-rock in various formations and has been a band member of one moment - jazz since June 2018.
Bass players who have significantly influenced Dirk are: Jonas Hellborg, Jaco Pastorius, Mark King and Marcus Miller.

Carsten Kromschröder - piano/keyboards
Like so many, he came to classical music as a child in Göttingen, but was overwhelmed by the discipline of playing music after only a short time. He almost broke with music, had it not been for his friend Sven, in the Albani - youth group with an alto saxophone. He had funny chord symbols like C-7b5 with him. "These must be some options above C minor, but I can't really help you," said a music teacher at the high school.
Still, the two found their way to jazz and the possibilities of improvisation. Music hasn't let go of Carsten to this day, especially the opportunity to write pieces himself.
